Academic consultant
Carlota Nicolás Martínez (Madrid, 1956) collaborates with CIAM as an academic consultant since its foundation.
She has a PhD in Philosophy and Letters (Philology) from the Autonomous University of Madrid, and since 2002 she has been a researcher and professor of Spanish Language at the University of Florence (Italy). She is the author of an Italian-Spanish bilingual dictionary, also published in an electronic version. The highlight of her research is her Linguistically Annotated Didactic Oral Corpus: C-Or-DiAL.
She was a language assistant for two years at the Universities of Tianjin and Beijing (China), and for fifteen years at the Universities of Pisa and Florence. She also collaborates as a visiting professor with other universities.
