Graziella Fantini (Udine, Italia, 1967) has a degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures from Ca ’Foscari University of Venice and a PhD in Ibero-American Studies from the same university. She has been a professor of Spanish Language at the University of Trieste, a professor of English Translation at the University of Venice, and a professor of Spanish Language and Civilization at several Italian Institutes. She has been a professor of Italian at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting of Soria – University of Valladolid. She has translated books by George Santayana, Ramón J. Sender, José Jiménez Lozano and J.Á. González Sainz. She has published several articles about George Santayana and Shattered Pictures of Places and Cities in Santayana’s Autobiography (University of Valencia, 2010), an essay on this same author. She is currently the academic director of CIAM, a DELE examiner and coordinator of the Study Abroad programs. She is currently investigating the use of games to learn, the introduction of new technologies in the classroom, task-based learning and project-based learning.
