“The experience in Soria has been one of the most beautiful in my life, not only from the academic point of view, but also from the human point of view and  with regard to interpersonal relationships. It has been a unique experience because I have felt part of a big family. CIAM has served as a place to meet with teachers who are not only highly educated and professional, but also human and supportive, and have helped us in our journey. I had the honor of meeting teachers who love and strongly believe in what they do, and they have transmitted their passion for this project and for the place where they live to us. They have also brought us to one of the most beautiful places in the province of Soria. I can say that I think I am lucky to have had such a unique experience. Unforgettable! “I went to the Red Cross for the first time today to start my Spanish in the community and volunteering program and I am very happy with the opportunity that I had to help the children in the summer program. When I spoke with the director of the program, before arriving in Soria, she said that I should have the opportunity to do service learning and since that conversation I knew that I wanted to help people out with English in my volunteering work.”
